Folks write books much faster than I can read them. Then there's the problem of cobbling together short reviews. I've read well over a hundred books that I have yet to write up, and have many unread works sitting on my shelf waiting their turn. I suppose it's good to have so many committed people out there producing useful work, but it can be somewhat overwhelming.
